Inside the Remix Spring Dreamers edition with Isabelle Mathers

Discover those who dared to DREAM...

Isabelle wears Cartier watch & jewellery, Versace set.

We’re all capable of being dreamers, but it takes a special kind of gusto to turn dreams into reality. For Spring, we're celebrating the dreamers who paved their own way into their collective halls of fame. Beauty moguls, viral artists, fashion legends, record breaking Olympians, pioneering scientists and OG internet It Girls - like our radiant cover star Isabelle Mathers - all championed for the right to dream.

Isabelle wears Coach.

Cover star and long-time model Isabelle is a dreamer. Having taken the social scene by storm at a very young age, she was one of the original Australian tastemakers to pave the way on Instagram and is now ticking off her dream bucket list at a rapid rate. In our exclusive shoot, shot by the talented Steven Chee in Australia, Mathers showcased her It Girl allure; sporting Bottega and Versace sets, dramatic Gucci gowns and cosy Coach jackets, Calvin Klein biker crops, Tommy Hilfiger fits, new age Prada skirts, Armani bustiers and Cartier jewels as the proverbial icing on the coquettish cover cake.

At a quick glance you’ll determine the subsequent dreamers we’ve profiled are no average wishful thinkers.

From big hitters like the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt to screen sweetheart Sydney Sweeney, one read through from front to back and suddenly there’s endless motivation to turn your dreams into reality.

Some of my personal favourite conversations are with virally-loved creators, like playful conceptual artist Gab Bois who brought to life the earphone string bikini, the clementine heels and so many more viral IG images you’re sure to have scrolled and admired. Also the ever thought-provoking ladies behind Shit You Should Care About (and their new book Make it Make Sense) also await inside with the ins and outs on their globally-revered news platform and how it has evolved since its inception.

In homage to cover star Isabelle Mathers' online beginnings, Fashion outlines the internet It Girls you need to know; a Taekwondo muse returns to the streets, while our fluid shoot strength in numbers will inspire you and your partners spring’drobe.

Joining fellow athlete Usain, we talk to Jack Robinson, the champion surfer with a boy-next-door-like charm, who came back from the foam to represent at the 2024 Olympics in Paris (but really, the waves of Tahiti).

Activewear tycoon Lorna Jane tells all on her sweat-proof thread empire, while beauty moguls Jaimee Lupton and Emma Lewisham detail their dreamers route to success, and what’s next for them, besides world domination.

In Luxury, you’ll be confronted with maximalist accessorising born in your dreams that ends on your wrists. While a sneak peek of Made In Prada takes you behind the scenes of Prada’s seamstresses to uncover how they made this season’s famed runway ribbon dress.

Lifestyle will have you planning the epitome of clean girl travel with recommendations from Fiji to the South of France: where newlywed and haute honeymooner Rhia Jennings dishes the It Girl itinerary and how best to travel there in style.

Beauty reveals what lies in the Remix team’s carry-on bags: airport edition, as we lay bare our travel essentials. Plus: uncover the trends of spring. No mention of florals, we promise.

Make like Austin Butler and dress for the road in the Gentlemen section where spring wardrobes bounce from boujee biker aesthetic, to electric neons and crisp callings with clean lines.

While Cuisine tantalises tastebud demands with rip-out recipes and a breakdown of the best foodie events to indulge in this season.

As my last issue as editor-in-chief before heading off on (early) maternity leave where a new kind of dream awaits me, I’m signing off with the hope that the pages inside inspire the Remix readers to dream bigger and better than ever before…

The Dreamers Edition of Remix is on shelves now at all leading retailers nationwide.
