Parnell's jazziest new bar has just opened

What better way to get cosy on a cold winter's night than by settling in with a drink in hand to listen to the smooth sounds of jazz. Parnell has a new member on the block with Crown Range Lounge having just opened its doors, and this establishment is a must-visit on your weekend’s to-do list.

This Central Otago-inspired bar is a small and intimate venue, perfect for private functions, boutique wedding receptions and formal seated dinner parties. As well as being a bookable venue, this space turns into a vibrant jazz bar every Friday night with a killer lineup of musicians ready to play over the next few weekends. 

This exclusive hideaway bar is also hosting Artisan Nights, with their first event kicking off on Thursday 30th June in collaboration with Matakana Markets. Four local producers will be displaying their wares, giving you the chance to learn about their craft and support local artisans. The first event will introduce Batch 10 Whiskey, Whangaropo Buffalo Cheese, Wild Delicious Drinks and Manaki Whitebait, where you will be able to indulge both in-house and take away.

The duo of Allana Goldsmith & Mark Baynes play an eclectic mix of Soul & Jazz at The Crown Range Lounge this Friday the 8th of July (from 7pm). They will also be playing some original jazz numbers in Te Reo.

Saturday, July 9th
LADY SOUL: A Night of Disco, Soul & Funk brought to you by DJs Martina Mak & Phoebe Falconer.
