Nespresso goes Brazilian

To find inspiration for their new limited edition Grand Cru, Nespresso looked to the coffee loving country of Brazil. 

Taking inspiration from the nation’s deep coffee culture, the Nespresso connoisseurs developed a unique and powerful new Limited Edition Pure Origin Grand Cru, entitled Cafezinho do Brasil.

Cafezinho do Brasil is a Pure Origin coffee which uses carefully-selected Arabica beans from Southern Brazil. Nespresso worked closely with local farmers to hand pick coffee beans which suit Brazil’s preference for bitterness, roasted notes and a distinct aroma.

BRIGADEIRO CAPPUCCINO

Ingredients
- 1 tsp salted caramel sauce
- 1 capsule of Cafezinho do Brasil Limited Edition (40ml espresso)          
- Milk
- 1 tsp sweetened condensed milk 
- Chocolate sprinkles & extra salted caramel sauce

You will need
- 1 View Cappuccino cup              
- Nespresso machine
- Aeroccino

Method
- Place the caramel sauce at the bottom of the cup                                
- Add the espresso and stir to combine                                                                                                                
- Pour milk and condensed milk into the Aeroccino and prepare using the frothing whisk. Pour on top of the Espresso until a dome is created just above the brim.
- Sprinkle chocolate and salted caramel sauce as decoration


GINGER COCONUT BRAZILIAN DELIGHT

Ingredients
- 10 ml Ginger syrup
- 1 slice fresh ginger
- 150ml coconut water
- 5ml Coconut syrup
- 1 capsule of Cafezinho do Brasil Limited Edition (40ml espresso)
- Ice cubes

You will need
- 1 View Recipe Glass
- Nespresso machine
-Shaker
- 1 straw

Method
- Add ginger syrup to the glass
- Add 4-5 ice cubes
- Add the coconut water and coconut syrup on top
- Separately and ideally in a shaker, cool down the espresso with 2 ice cubes or crushed ice and shake
- Pour the coffee on top of the ice cubes, decorate and serve.


FRESH GOIABA THYME LATTE MACCHIATO

Ingredients
- 30ml guava syrup
- 200ml cold milk
- 30ml fresh cream
- 1 capsule of Cafezinho do Brasil Limited Edition (40ml espresso)
- Thyme to decorate
- 2 ice cubes

You will need
- 1 View Recipe Glass
-Nespresso machine
- Aeroccino

Method
- Put the guava syrup in the glass
- Pour the cold milk and the cream
- On the side, cool down the espresso with ice cubes
- Pour the coffee on top of the milk
- Make some froth and add 3 big spoons on top
- Decorate with thyme before serving
