Through optical sensors (positioned on the case back), the DWH5600MB-1A4 & DWH5600MB-8A9 models effectively track the wearer’s heart rate, monitoring the oxygen levels entering the bloodstream. 
This new technology works autonomously with other imperative features, such as the accelerometer for step-counting, four activity mode options for tailored tracking and, our favourite, the training and sleep analysis. This collective body data - whether it’s your running index or nighttime recharge patterns - empowers users with informed insights to elevate routines and reshape how you work out. This user-first mentality shines through in the integrated app function which displays all of this information in clear, concise logs and goal progress on your smartphone. Along with real-time and amassed results, the app will offer advice on improving your exercise and sleep patterns - almost like a pocket-sized personal trainer. 
With new technological advancements comes a sleek, sport-style watch design to match. From the black and red G-SHOCK brand colours on the DWH5600MB1A4 to the all-over grey hue of the DWH5600MB-8A9, together, these shades and the metal design evoke that polished, high-tech sports gear product aesthetic.
