If you're missing your Gossip Girl fix, this is the show to watch

Okay let's be real here - we all shed a tear when Gossip Girl came to a halt... and ever since have fallen prey to binge watching all six seasons in a nostalgic attempt to bring back all those swoon-worthy memories fawning over Chuck Bass. We get it. 

Lucky for you (and us) that a new show is on the horizon that should pit your GG nostalgia at the proverbial post.

The original 80's sitcom, Dynasty is making a comeback, and it features a modern day twist - opening with the poignant"Welcome to the 1% of the 1%."

The 2017 installment follows the same story line as the original, which is set from 1981-1989. Dynasty traces two of America's wealthiest families - the Carrington's and the Colby's through all the ins and outs of their rivalries, children, money and business.

If you're not drawing comparisons already, then we feel sorry for you. Cue the Serena and Blair in this Gossip Girl look-a-likes, Krystle Carrington and Fallon Colby. 

 With Gossip Girl writers Josh Schwartz and and Stephanie Savage at the helm, and starring Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious, Vacation) and Nathalie Kelley (The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift) our expectations are as high as the Empire State Building.
