In Bloom with Silk & Steel
As we cross the halfway mark for January, it can only mean one thing - Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. Luckily, treasured New Zealand jewellery designer Silk & Steel has taken the hard work out of this stress-inducing task with the arrival of its first collection for 2025 - Bloom. The curated collection is the perfect marriage between the whimsy of summer and the romanticism of Cupid’s holiday, brought to life through dainty, floral-inspired designs that possess quite the hidden meanings. Each ring, earring, and pendant necklace showcases a mini cluster of three natural gemstones: rose quartz chosen for its love and compassion qualities, opal for its creativity and emotional balance, and amazonite for its harmony and communication properties - quite the trifecta for a well-balanced relationship if you ask us. Whether worn alone or layered with other Silk & Steel pieces, this is your time to score serious brownie points this Valentine’s Day.

Bring in the Lunar New Year with BLUNT
As we prepare to usher in the Chinese New Year on Wednesday, 29 January, premier and cherished New Zealand umbrella brand BLUNT is getting a head start with the release of its new umbrella design, Serpentine. Paying homage to the Year of the Snake, the black canopy of the Classic and Metro silhouettes welcomes a kaleidoscope of colour, brought to life through floral and snake motifs. Blooms such as orchids, peonies and camellias represent good fortunes and new beginnings and paired with the snake, associations of spiritual growth and renewal come forward. Together, it’s a stunning interpretation of this spectacular event. To mark the occasion, creative icon Aki Curtis models the new design in fabulous fashion, as always.

"Once Upon A Time You Dressed So Fine"
Reluctantly popping his moustache and Lime Bike charades to the side (for now), this week in Timothée Chalamet news, we’re shining the spotlight on the exciting launch of the Levi’s® Vintage Clothing x A Complete Unknown collection. Working closely with Oscar-nominated costume designer Arianne Phillips and consulting the archives, the Levi’s® team presents a collection that pays homage to Bob Dylan’s most iconic looks. From the 1955 501® jeans with the bootcut insert Dylan famously customised himself to Dylan’s signature accessory, the Leather “D” buckle belt, this is your chance to immerse yourself in the Bob Dylan buzz like never before. The collection is out now and is available through Levi’s.

Having just launched yesterday, this third and final drop is designed with everyday wear in mind, showcasing a soft twist on classic silhouettes that feel super versatile and wearable. Subtle curvature forms the base of rings, cuffs and huggie-style earrings, drawing inspiration from the overarching Pleasures theme that marries life’s simple pleasures with the circular energy of nature’s cycles.
