We can't get enough of... Jeremy Allen White in his boxers
As the second week of January draws to a close (are we already asking the question, “where is the time going?”), we take a retrospective look at the week that has been and its most iconic moments. Whether it’s groundbreaking industry news, a new favourite Calvin Klein campaign (you know the one) or slightly *awkward* Golden Globes moments worth talking about, here’s a roundup of things we can’t get enough of.

Jeremy Allen White strips for Calvin Klein’s latest campaign
As if we needed any more convincing when it comes to purchasing CK’s iconic underwear silhouette, Calvin Klein brings a campaign that left our jaws on the floor (literally) and ready to press purchase on our shopping carts. Teaming up with sexy chef Jeremy Allen White from Hulu’s ‘The Bear,’ we get a glimpse of New York City’s iconic cityscape and Jeremy’s iconic physique *gulp* as he models Calvin Klein’s beloved boxer briefs to Lesley Gore’s ‘You Don’t Own Me.’ For those who are yet to watch, the link is below - you can thank us later.

Barbie was back for the 2024 Golden Globes
This week marked the unofficial start to the 2024 Hollywood awards season with the 81st Golden Globes, and the Red Carpet showcased an array of iconic fashion moments. Former Remix cover star Margot Robbie showed us that ‘Barbiecore’ is not over just yet, wearing a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown and pink boa, inspired by 1977 Superstar Barbie’s 50th Anniversary - a very fitting outfit to celebrate the film’s nine Golden Globe nominations.
Karen Walker’s Love Letter to Fiji
A long-time admirer of the Fijian culture, Karen Walker’s latest collection in collaboration with 'Rise Beyond the Reef' seamlessly blends the traditional craftsmanship of Fijian artisans, and Karen’s signature eclectic style, resulting in the creation of two pandanus bags - a tote bag and a backpack.
Handwoven in Ra Province, Viti Levu, the unique designs reflect the local coastal community’s dedication to sustainable artistry, and Rise Beyond the Reef’s commitment to supporting the rural women of Fiji, whilst the contemporary Karen Walker ‘Runaway’ straps add an urban feel that brings a little bit of Fiji to the streets of Aotearoa.
A new home is hatched…
The preservation of Aotearoa’s national and vulnerable Kiwi bird is one of incredible importance in New Zealand, and thanks to the National Kiwi Hatchery, a significant relocation of Kiwi to a purpose-built facility at Agrodome Rotorua is underway. This exciting relocation will see a major contribution to the National Kiwi Hatchery’s long-term goal of increasing the number of Kiwi released each year; December saw the first chick named Te Ngākau safely hatched and healthy (swooning!).

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez gossiping at the Golden Globes
If we could summarise the 2024 Golden Globes in one word, it would be, well … ‘awkward’. However, amongst some of the more cringe-worthy scenes from the night were moments that showed us that celebrities really are ‘just like us’. The viral exchange between Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift has us all in a chokehold, dying to know what piping hot gossip the ‘Bad Liar’ singer was sharing with Miss Swift. Rumour has it that Kylie Jenner wouldn’t allow Selena to take a photo with her beau, Timothee Chalamet.
