Turning trash into art

Ever wonder what happens to those plastic spoons and crumpled up pieces of tin foil after you part ways with them?

Photographer Ira Bordo and Make-up Artist Olga Glazunova have collaborated in a project named ‘Recycling into art’. The outlook is simple – turning simple things from everyday garbage into something that resembles a masterpiece and luxury.

The idea was to capture a glamorous look that could borrow the sheen of everyday trash items that shine, such as rubbish bags, tin foil, plastic cutlery and straws.

Although these beautiful garments look like they belong on a couture runway, they are only made to be photographed as they are too delicate to be worn.
