The Remix weekly round-up is here

In the iconic words of Rebecca Black - it's Friday - and that can only mean one thing - welcome back to another edition of everything the Remix team is loving this week.

Crocs, but not as you know them...
Often a reliable grab-and-go option for Dairy dashes or long-haul flights, hate them or love them, many of us can admit that we’ve got a little soft spot for Crocs. Now, get ready to welcome a new contender to your Croc-drobe. Enter - the brand-new Stomp Loafer. Steering away from its holey predecessor, this new style unfolds a new chapter for Crocs: one that feels more stylish and sophisticated. Boasting that familiar lightweight feel as classic Croc styles and unrivalled comfort we’ve grown to love, the Stomp Loafer adds a smarter edge for everyday slip-on looks with the design elements of a classic loafer, reimagined in Crocs form. With a subtle heel height and, dare we say, timeless feel, we can’t wait to turn heads in this unexpected but undeniably chic Crocs release.

Shining bright in the Big Apple
New Zealand jewellery designer Jasmine Sparrow is having her New York Minute. After unveiling her recent release of her New York, New York collection, we’re rewarded with a capsule of pieces that embody Jasmin’s signature sculptural style, inspired by the amalgamation of energy found in the streets of the Lower East Side. As such, metals are purposely contoured to mirror liquid, weighted bangles are designed to amplify the wrist’s slight gestures and dome earrings and rings act as an extension of the wearer - all immaculately polished and finished, of course. The cherry (or should we say apple) on top comes in the form of chic campaign imagery, shot by photographer Clara Pafundi in The City that Never Sleeps.

Rain, rain, go away
Helping brighten up dull days is the latest collab between BLUNT Umbrellas and I AM HOPE. With the release of the brand-new limited edition umbrella, wet weather warriors are doing their bit to help Kiwi youth in need, as $20 from each sale goes towards free counselling for mental health and education. For more than a decade, the I AM HOPE team, helmed by mental health advocate Mike King, has worked towards shifting the perception of mental health in Aotearoa and encouraging those struggling to open up in a safe and accessible space. The limited edition BLUNT umbrella design, available in Metro and Classic sizes, showcases an array of abstract swirls, designed to mimic the ebbs and flows of emotions and show that healing is a non-linear journey.
