Sleep is such an important part of our lives to the point where it even affects our health, so shouldn’t we spend lots of money on a big expensive mattress? Funnily enough, the answer is… “no”. The first time Remix commercial manager Amy met with Simon at Winkl she had just purchased a very expensive King mattress. Had she known, Amy could have saved thousands by purchasing directly from Winkl. Infuriated by her impulsive purchase, she was determined to try it out for herself and set out to compare and review a Winkl mattress.
What is Winkl all about?

“My king-sized lux Winkl mattress and foam pillow arrived the same day it was ordered, which was amazing considering this was during Level 4 lockdown. The mattress came completely vacuum-packed and rolled up to fit into a box so it was pretty darn heavy but luckily I had my noodle-armed flatmate to help me. Once we got it onto my bed and took off the plastic, it instantly started to expand which was unusually satisfying to watch. As soon as it looked thick enough I jumped right on and holy back support, Batman! I could feel it supporting every inch of my body from head to toe. Had I been sleeping on mattresses that were too firm my entire life? After one night’s sleep I was seriously doubting my life’s mattress choices. On night four Mum came over for dinner and I showed her my new Winkl mattress. She was convinced that foam mattresses were no good...until she lay down. My mother now approves of this mattress. I’ll either have to marry it or keep it forever.”
The verdict
“I no longer wake up with a sore neck or sore shoulders, things I had always thought were normal. The combination of the foam mattress and foam pillow are nothing short of heaven. I sold my mattress from the other retail giant and now permanently sleep on a Winkl mattress.”
