Remix Founder, Tim Phin stays at Horizon by SkyCity
Auckland City's skyline has welcomed a new addition with the grand opening of Horizon by SkyCity. The brand new five-star hotel offers 303 artfully designed rooms, including 10 stunning suites featuring breathtaking views of the city and the Waitematā Harbour.
The hotel's design by renowned Moller Architects incorporates locally commissioned artwork and sculptures that reflect the essence of the land, including a striking 12-story art installation, ‘Transcendence,’ and 19 gold Pōhutukawa leaves extending from the lobby's Onyx Bar to the 12th floor.
Remix Founder, Tim Phin was recently treated to a weekend staycation in the Elite Harbour View King Room and the Horizon Suite on the top floor of the hotel. Tim was also treated to a dining experience at The Grill. "Of course I had to go for the steak - my favourite meat. It did not disappoint. I also loved the oak tables at Onyx bar - we stopped in for a nightcap before heading up to our room. The 'Honey Onyx' drink was delicious." - Tim Phin.
