NZFW Company of Strangers
By Flora Cheng
Debuting at NZFW, Company of Strangers' winter collection 'Pop Shop' opened with shades of purple, black and grey before moving onto hot pink, scarlet and neon orange and yellow, showing us how colour clashing can be reinterpreted into effortlessly cool everyday wear. Asymmetrical cuts and lines as well as bold and structured tailoring featured heavily, giving each piece a quirky yet high fashion look. The models looked super slick with straight sleek hair pinned down at the sides and strong dark brow to really set the looks off. Collection faves included the neon yellow leather bags and the array of asymmetrical, colour clashing silk gorgette frocks.
