Melbourne Cup is the annual horserace that brings offices together across Australia and New Zealand with some sweet (and perhaps some not so sweet) sweepstakes. Each year Kiwis have been getting more and more into the Melbourne Cup and this year is no different… Auckland’s ultimate 2014 Melbourne Cup celebration has to be the one at Longroom in Ponsonby. Sponsored by G.H.Mumm Champagne, Longroom will be transformed into a Melbourne Cup mecca, with huge screens displaying the races, canapés, live entertainment, TAB and, of course, G.H.Mumm champagne. Like the ‘Fashion on the field’ at the actual Melbourne Cup, guests of G.H.Mumm Melbourne Cup at Longroom are encouraged to dress up, because there will be prizes awarded for best dressed.
