Hailwood and Stolen Girlfriends Club keeping you warm on North Wharf: Win a limited edition designer blanket
Adding a fashionable twist to the incredible cuisine and views of the Waitemata Harbour, restaurants on Auckland’s North Wharf, Wynyard Quarter are celebrating increased outdoor eating by partnering with two of New Zealand’s hottest designers. North Wharf diners will be kept warm from those unexpected harbour winds, wrapped in blankets inspired by the waterfront and designed by Adrian Hailwood and Stolen Girlfriends Club.
Not for sale, these limited edition blankets will keep diners cosy while they enjoy the range of gastronomic delights on offer at North Wharf and by dining at any restaurant during September you can go in the draw to win one of your own.
A celebration of winter, fashion and our city’s incredible waterfront, each designer was asked to create a blanket that connected to the sea.
‘Stolen Girlfriends Club has a strong affiliation with the water, with the whole team being keen surfers. The splash print ties back to crashing waves, the aggressive nature of water and the chaos in nature,’ says Dan Gosling about the Stolen Girlfriends Club black and white designs.
‘Based on a coat of arms that make up the fabric prints and motifs in the new Hailwood winter range, we have created an homage to the sea with the water unicorn, called Kevin”, says Adrian Hailwood about his design.
