Created over the past 18 months, the LunarEpic was made specifically to fit perfectly, feel amazing and have the latest in shoe innovation to get you lasting the distance. The perfect release to get you motivated to sign up for the upcoming Auckland marathon!
To launch this new baby, Nike have set up a Nike Unlimited Distance hub in Britomart, Auckland open to the public until August 24th for 1-on-1 personal coaching sessions. Your Nike Coach will provide running technique advice, training advice and a personalised fitting service into the new LunarEpic shoes. Pretty awesome for anyone wanting to get into running!
The LunarEpic's inspiration was Nike Designers passion to create and perfect the ultimate running shoe. They began by constructing a lightweight, breathable one-piece Nike Flyknit upper and a rubber-free outsole constructed by Lunarlon foam, providing unrivaled heel-to-toe transitions and propelling energy return.
We popped down to test out these new kicks and the Unlimited Distance hub and it's safe to say, we've found our new running shoes. The LunarEpic are not only the best looking shoes we've seen this year, they're also just as lightweight and breathable as they're said to be.
