Remix Road to Coachella; chella ’18 highlights and exciting news for ’19

As we draw closer to the most anticipated music festival of 2019, let’s up the excitement by taking a walk down memory lane with last year’s highlights. Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival was jam-packed with celebrity sightings, weirdly-wonderful fashion and incredible performances.

Last year exhibited some of the biggest names in popular music, including The Weeknd, Eminem and a pregnant Cardi B, who delivered a show much bigger than anyone expected.

But, surprise surprise, it was Beyonce that stole the show, after famously having to cancel her performance the year before. Festival-goers were lucky enough to watch the pop-princess transform the occasion into ‘Beychella’, performing quintessential black college routines such as a drumline and step dancing. She concluded the spectacle by saying ‘thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella’. Some have gone as far as to call her performance the greatest live show in modern history!

But don’t worry festi-goers, Coachella 2019 is looking like it will live up to its predecessor, and although the line-up isn't officially released until January, the rumoured performers are what dreams are made of. There are a lot of rumours suggesting Justin Timberlake will take the stage, as well as The Spice Girls rumoured to make a reunion.

With Kanye West and Childish Gambino also believed to round out the headliners, Coachella 2019 may showcase some of the best and brightest of the 21st Century’s most successful artists.

While we still have to wait to see whether or not the rumours are true, you don’t want to delay in booking your flights! Plenty of attendees we know admit they left it a little later than they had hoped.
