Boconcept Pops Up In Britomart Square
Words by Steven Fernandez
Britomart has fast become the place to grab a bite and get some retail therapy in Auckland. From Orleans to Ortolini, Milse to Mexico, Britomart is hands down one of the city’s coolest districts, thanks to the constant addition of fresh and unique businesses.
The latest addition – BoConcept’s beautiful pop-up boutique – fits perfectly into Britomart Square with an emphasis on fashion and functionality. This temporary new BoConcept hub, located in the Australis building, is capacious and contemporary with an industrial feel.
It’s styled as one of the brand’s ‘inspirational’ stores. Customers are invited to ‘pop in and chill out in a room setting with friends, or relax on a sofa with a design magazine’ while immersing themselves in cutting edge design.
The opening of the pop up coincides nicely with BoConcept’s anniversary of ten years in New Zealand. Today the brand boasts 260 stores worldwide and has become synonymous with providing superb Danish furniture design since its inception in 1952.
The boutique is also home to the ‘Home Creator’, a tool enabling customers to design their own furniture in 3D, personalising pieces by changing their colour, size and more. BoConcept also offers a Home Consultation Service, which can be booked at the Britomart store.
As well as carrying a wide range of BoConcept’s own-designed and manufactured pieces, the store carries a selection of beautifully designed audio products from Geneva Sound and Tivoli Audio, and you can experience high quality HiFi in store.
Go down and check out the Britomart BoConcept boutique pop-up for yourself at 36 Customs Street East, visit the online store for more information and ‘Like’ them on Facebook for all the latest updates.
