Spend an evening with Shark Beauty at the Remix Gala

A surprise performance by Peking Duck’s Keli Holiday, Caviarmafia bumps with Belvedere Vodka shots, and Shark Beauty SmoothStyles™ in the goodie bags? It could only be the annual Remix Gala! Last night, Remix and friends celebrated spring in serious style thanks to Shark Beauty and our treasured sponsors. With the iconic St Matthew-in-the-city transformed into a chic, Shark-approved soirée, we threw a night to remember—or, let’s be honest, kind of remember!

Thankfully, Shark Beauty was on hand to capture the style and special memories with not one but two photo stations. The first, a celebration of Shark Beauty’s core hair styling range, showcased their innovative tools—including the Shark FlexStyle™, Shark SmoothStyle™, and Shark SpeedStyle™—against a backdrop of Shark Beauty’s signature pink. Guests eagerly posed with the sleek display before hitting the dancefloor, catching up with friends or enjoying beverages from our other cherished sponsors. 

As the venue filled up, old friends and new acquaintances alike flocked to the Shark Beauty photo booth to capture the magic of the evening. From playful poses to high-fashion shots worthy of a Remix Magazine cover, guests walked away with printed photo strips, the perfect personalised souvenir of the night.

After an unforgettable performance by Peking Duck’s Keli Holiday and Remix’s resident DJ, Tim Phin, it was time to bid farewell. However, guests left with more than just memories—thanks to our generous sponsor, Shark Beauty. Inside the goodie bags was a Shark SmoothStyle Heated Comb Straightener & Smoother, promising salon-quality styling at home.

And special mention to Shark Beauty for setting the stage in the hours before the Gala.
