The inside scoop on Victoria's Secret 2016 show

In case you missed the memo, one of the most eagerly anticipated fashion shows of the year is fast approaching - the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Not only does it give us our fair share of lingerie envy (a la the famed multi-million dollar Fantasy Bra), but also some serious #fitspo in the lead up to stripping down at the beach this summer.

Here's everything you need to know about the 20th anniversary of the world's sexiest runway show. 

DATE: Mark it in your diaries, this year's VS show will be held on November 30, 2016

LOCATION: None other than our favourite, Paris – the fashion capital of the world

SEGMENTS: This year's themed segments included: The Road Ahead, Secret Angel, Mountain Romance, Pink Nation, Dark Angel, Bright Night Angel

THE LINE-UP: Angels walking the show include - Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill, Gigi Hadid, Rachel Hilbert, Constance Jablonski, Bella Hadid, Zuri Tibi, Jourdana Elizabeth, Keke Lindgard, Grace Elizabeth, Luma Grothe, Herieth Paul, Alanna Arrington, Maggie Laine, Bridget Malcolm, Dilone, Lais Oliveira, Georgia Fowler, Megan Williams, Kelly Gale, Ming Xi , Kate Grigorieva, Liu Wen, Valery Kaufman, Sanne Vloet, Devon Windsor, Sui He, Maria Borges, Daniela Braga, Leomie Anderson, Izabel Goulart, Lily Donaldson, Joan Smalls and Kate Grigorieva.

SCANDAL: She may not have walked in a Victoria's Secret show since 2013, but Cara Delevigne made headlines this week following a highly controversial story printed in tabloid publication The Sun. The article spread questionable news that Cara was too 'bloated' to walk in the 2014 show, which invited comment from executive producer Edward Razek to clear the air, and extend a personal invitation asking Cara to walk in this year's show. Here's hoping she accepts!

NZ'S ANGELS:  National treasures Georgia Fowler and Stella Maxwell will be representing New Zealand while donning their smalls. 

MODEL TO WEAR THE FANTASY BRA: Since 2001, the Victoria's Secret Show has featured a bejwelled bra dubbed the 'Fantasy Bra'. This year, Jasmine Tookes will be modelling the Bright Night Fantasy Bra, worth a cool $3million. 

PERFORMANCES: Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Bruno Mars have been confirmed as musical guests on the lingerie-filled runway. The 2016 show marks Lady Gaga's debut Victoria's Secret performance, while Bruno Mars and The Weeknd previously performed at the show in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Here's hoping she dons that candy pink Joanne hat!
