A fusion of two footwear forces: Vans & Stüssy release limited edition capsule collection together
You know how you imagine what would happen if two of your favourite things joined together for one massive amount of awesomeness? Then you sit back and have a daydream about how cool that would be...
Well, that pretty much just happened. Vans and Stüssy are celebrating their rich heritage with the Vault by Vans x Stüssy collection - the ultimate footwear fusion! Having both started in California with a reputation for unique designs and a Southern Californian aesthetic, the two icons have come together to present an eclectic capsule that harkens back to the early days of each brand.
As a tribute to their roots in skate and street fashion, Vans and Stüssy have compiled an assortment of prints not seen since the '80s and '90s.
Utilizing the original design specs of the Old Skool, the Stüssy Tom Tom print, drawn by Shaun Stüssy in 1986, is revived on the OG Style 36 LX, on the medial and lateral sides of the skate lace-up.
Introduced in their footwear more than 20 years ago, the Stüssy 8 Ball print marks its return on the quarter panels on the OG Sk8-Hi LX. The arrangement has become one of Stüssy's most celebrated patterns since its 1991 introduction.
Vans' iconic high-top brings the Vault by Vans x Stüssy collection to a close with a unique black/white colorway that is outfitted with the coveted pattern and finished with red leather Sidestripe detailing.
