New Zealand Fashion Weekend is this year again jam-packed full with heaps of exciting shows and seminars for Kiwi fashion lovers to get involved with. Back on the bill are two serious fashion heavyweights – Trelise Cooper and Huffer – to deliver shows that are sure to ‘wow’ the crowds that pack out the rows to see them.
Lotto New Zealand is supporting the Trelise Cooper show and Big Wednesdayhas jumped behind the Huffer show and will also be hosting a Big Wednesday luxury hour afterwards, helping these distinctly different but equally impressive designers present what are arguably two of the most highly anticipated collection previews of the season.
At midday on Sunday 8th September, Trelise Cooper fans are sure to pack out theWestpac Shed at Viaduct Event Centre for a spectacular show presenting theTrelise Cooper Summer Collection. Worn by the likes of Liv Taylor, Miranda Kerr and Reece Witherspoon and synonymous with individuality, each Trelise Cooper piece is distinctive, directional and irresistible with vibrant colors and sensuous fabrics.
Then at 4pm on Sunday 8th, Huffer will light up the runway with ‘Right Place Wrong Time’. Look out for their Tokyo-themed video footage fresh from a recent Japan shoot, where they teamed up with daredevil Dave England from Jackass to capture some incredible visuals. From sportswear to street wear, menswear to women’s wear, there will be something for everyone in this energetic show.
“I like the inclusivity of having a Fashion Weekend show and we’re really into Big Wednesday helping us make it happen. It’s great the public can come down and see what we do and get amongst it. We hope people will see something they love on the runway and head straight into stores,” says Steve Dunstan, founder of Huffer.
We will most certainly be down there capturing every minute of the action! These tickets are going to sell fast, so make sure you secure your place now by jumping over to iTicket and nabbing yourself a seat. Not to be missed!
