Remix Picks: Our favourite pieces from the new Helen Cherry AW16 collection
Helen Cherry's AW16 collection has dropped today in Workshop stores and online. A subtle 70's luxe vibe runs through this bold collection, mixing in the classic sophisticated work wear with a touch of rock and roll. The result? An edgy yet luxurious collection where fabrics are tailored and silks are popping with colour. To help you pick a favourite from the new range, the Remix girls sat down (and fought it out) over our picks of the bunch... Remix Art Director Annabelle loves the Tessa Coat 'The colour and the shape make this masculine box style coat a wardrobe essential. You can layer up underneath to keep warm or wear it over a nice dress to go casual or chic.'
Digital & Editorial Manager Isabelle recommends the Mohair Crewneck Sweater 'Although it feels too soon to be looking at woolley jerseys with the blue sky outside, this wee number really stuck out for me within the collection. I can see myself wearing this under a big coat, or on top of a collared shirt on pretty much every chilly day to come!'
Remix Intern Jamie can't go past the classic LBD – The Birkin Dress 'Ideal to be worn on any occasion! I love things that you can dress up with some heels and accessories, or dress casually with tights and a coat on those winter days no one wants to face. This dress does it all and the three quarter sleeves add an extra to a timeless classic.' Remix Intern Daisy picks the Wool Poloneck 'Because in winter I basically live in turtlenecks and I just love the colour and style of this one! It would be so perfect for layering too.' Remix Account Manager Sam loves the set of the Slim Wool Pant with the Wool Tee 'It's casual, It's grey. Need I say more?' And one lucky extra because we couldn't handle winter without a pop of colour... We all loved the new season patterns, especially this Shirt with Epaulettes; the perfect way to add a pop to all the winter neutrals and keep you looking on trend this coming season.
