Partridge Jewellers' Timeless Legacy

The New Zealand home of such iconic heritage brands as OMEGA, Patek Philippe, Chopard and Fabergé, this year Partridge Jewellers celebrates an incredible 160 years in the business of bringing beautiful timepieces and jewellery to some of Aotearoa’s most stylish and discerning individuals.

Long ahead of the pack when it comes to a keen eye for the luxury world’s most in-demand new offerings, the proudly family-owned watch and jewellery business has announced a series of celebratory moments to mark its 160th journey around the sun, along with an invitation to purchase from a uniquely curated catalogue of pieces.

As the business enters into its sixth generation of family ownership and governance, the highly esteemed local house is offering up the incredible opportunity to access rare and one-of-a-kind timepieces and jewellery, under the moniker The Partridge 160th Collection. The momentous offering
is comprised of a sought-after selection of rare and limited edition timepieces from the aforementioned brands, as well as special jewellery from international brands including Fabergé, FOPE and Pasquale Bruni which will be included in a catalogue scheduled for release later this year.

“As the oldest watch and jewellery retailer continuously operated by the same family in New Zealand, this is a major milestone that we want to celebrate,” says owner and Managing Director, Grant Partridge. “We are lucky to have an incredible relationship with many of our brands whose support at the news of our 160th anniversary has been overwhelming”.

“We are excited to offer our clients and the wider public an opportunity to access some incredibly rare timepieces and jewellery. In our part of the world, there are few businesses that can lay claim to being 160 years old,” he says, clearly a testament to both their business acumen and eye for detail.

The global lineup will be complemented by a selection of one- of-a-kind fine jewellery pieces featuring rare gems in settings inspired by New Zealand’s world renowned landscape and Partridge’s multi-generational story. Designed by Partridge’s own Head Designer, Andrea Lethiers, the collection will complement other additions that Partridge has made to its in- house jewellery offering in the lead up to its anniversary year.

Last but by no means least, 2024 will also see Partridge Jewellers launch its eponymous Partridge Laureate programme, furthering its long-standing support of the community via the Partridge Family Foundation. Partridge will announce the first beneficiary of the Laureate programme at its 160th birthday celebrations in November, where the enduring brand with a love for the luxurious will honour its heritage, whilst celebrating an equally bright future.
