Our favourite and most stylish lawyer flick turns 20

Legally Blonde hit cinemas 20 years ago and has gone down in history as one of the most-watched and reputed “chick flicks” of all time. 

Although the reason for her intelligent makeover might have been a little questionable (it was the 90’s so we’ll let it slide) Elle Woods single-handedly broke the curve, smooshing educational gender ideals with one single pink kitten heel. 

Elle Woods was a detrimental part in many people's lives growing up, teaching life lessons to those who didn’t know they needed it. From the bend and snap (remember it’s all in the snap) to getting into an Ivy League college, what? Like it’s hard? The blonde bombshell made her way into the lives of those most judgemental and the hearts of those most unlikely. 

Not only did she slay Harvard law and defend beloved fitness instructor Brooke Windham in a murder trial, she did it all in pink power suits, feathered collars and sequined bikinis.
