Encapsulating every element of the brand’s storied history, the new era of Michael Hill was celebrated by friends of the brand this week at the jeweller’s luxurious new Queenstown flagship. Remix Founder Tim Phin attended the opening and discovered what all the fuss was about.
The boutique's refreshed vision introduces a serene new colour palette inspired by the lush green landscapes of New Zealand, a nod to the origins of Michael Hill nearly 45 years ago. The new design itself draws from the passion of the brand’s namesake for fine jewellery and the creative influence of Lady Christine, whose love for storytelling through her iconic window displays has left a lasting mark.
The Queenstown boutique proudly showcases a curated selection of Fine Jewellery, each piece crafted to embody elegance and sophistication. And perhaps most excitingly, setting this boutique apart is the exclusive Tennis Concierge, a bespoke service that allows customers to design their own tennis necklaces or bracelets—perfectly tailored for themselves or a loved one. Through this one-of-a-kind experience, customers can select from unique, fancy diamond cuts, such as marquise, emerald, and pear shapes, and customise their piece by choosing the ideal carat weight and fit to achieve a truly personalised creation.
