kigu.me
After a trip to the local Seikomart grocery store in Japan, young entrepreneurs Aidan Lister and Daniel Labib found the key to every adults costume fantasy, the onesie or kigu. Old, young or something in-between, the onesie does not discriminate when it comes to age, gender and size. Popular amongst students, festival-goers, snow enthusiasts and as grandmas’ secret pajamas, once you’re in one you’ll never want to take it off. After their initial launch in February, Kigu.me are now Australia’s largest importer of animal onesie’s and genuine Japanese Kigurumi’s. Based in Melbourne, the Kigu.me team are responsible for outfitting over 6,000 Kigurumi customers with their selection of more than 75 onesies. Now we can pick them up in New Zealand as they launch their new and improved website. Kigu.me’s new virtual space offers customers a fun interactive page to view and select their favourite design based on detailed descriptions and high quality images.
With Christmas now fast approaching, many more are expected to jump on, or perhaps more suitably into, the onesie bandwagon. The perfect outfit for a festive Christmas, the Kigu.me onesie won’t show the stomachs of those who over-indulge and are guaranteed to add to that all important Christmas cheer.
