H&M teams up with Kenzo for their 2016 designer collaboration

The 2015 Balmain x H&M collection was every fashion lover's dream - with the limited edition range selling out in record time - and it has just been released that the next H&M designer collaboration is currently underway.

In November 2016, the popular high-street brand is joining forces with Parisian label Kenzo to release their women and men’s ready-to-wear clothing and accessories collection. Following a runway show in mid-October this year, the collection will arrive in 250 H&M stores around the world and online.

Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have been the creative directors at Kenzo for the past five years and shared in an interview on H&M’s site that they were 'really excited' for the collab. 'Together with H&M, we will invite all the customers and fans to the real Kenzo world,' Leon added.

The creative bold logos, signature animal prints, and bright colours trademark of Kenzo are sure to attract popularity to the upcoming collaboration. In an interview with Vogue H&M’s creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson commented, 'Balmain was glamorous and sexy, and this is vibrant, young, and fun.'

With H&M due to open in Auckland’s Sylvia Park later this year, here’s hoping that the designer garments will be in our wardrobes and not just on our computer screens.
