Gucci is launching an exciting new app!

Gucci is inviting us inside the brilliant mind of its Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, with its new app Gucci Places. The app, set to release in September, will feature an array of places around the globe that best reflects the brand, allowing Gucci followers to get the inside scoop into where Alessandro Michelle and the overall label, finds inspiration from.

A significant, exciting feature of this app is that it will provide users with an extensive and intimate history of the brand extending back to before Michele's ownership. The app is also highly attractive to those of us travelers out there. By using geo-location technology, devices will notify a user when they are in close proximity to a Gucci Place, encouraging them to visit. Users can then "check-in" to the location, in exchange for a badge.

The first Gucci place to be disclosed will be the famous Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, England, where Gucci has recently supported an exhibition called House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth, showcasing the power of fashion with clothing and memorabilia.

Gucci is forever the creator of revolutionary ideas and concepts, and we can't wait to check this app out for ourselves!
