Crocs-spotting at Our:House Festival

Spotted: Crocs made a major statement at Our:House festival this year, and our senses are tingling with a trend slowly simmering. Once commonly and fondly known as your dairy dash go-to or long-haul flight saviours, Crocs are now gracing the feet of stylish festival-goers. Call it a glow-up, call it a vibe, but one thing’s for sure—Crocs are having their moment.

The buzz around Crocs reached a fever pitch at last weekend’s Our:House festival, where some of Auckland’s most stylish influencer girlies were caught serving fits in their Crocs. Think glittery Jibbitz, chunky platform soles, and even real-tree motifs (yes Crocs come in camo). Whether paired with cargo pants, coord sets, or cute skirts paired with headscarves, these festival fits all featured Crocs.

Why the sudden obsession? Well, festivals are the ultimate endurance test—long days, muddy fields, running between stages, and non-stop dancing. Enter Crocs: lightweight, comfy, waterproof, and now, fashion-approved. You can stomp through the crowd, queue for overpriced nachos, and still hit the afterparty without crying over blistered feet. Practical and cute? We’re sold.

Not only that, custom Jibbitz turned everyone's Crocs into walking mood boards. From rhinestones to clip-on charm chains, to varied colours and platform styles, each pair had its own vibe. Check out some of the looks spotted below to catch some ‘fit’-spiration for the summer festival season.

So what’s the takeaway? Ultimately, Crocs have officially moved from “what are thooooose” to “OMG, I need those”... take it from us. They’re no longer just functional, they’re fashionable and made for festivals. Que the Crocs craze.
