Every incredible look from the PIA Boutique launch party
Excitement hung in the air at Auckland’s Tom Tom Bar & Eatery last night, as Kiwi fashion designer Pia Naera-Scott revealed her latest collection ‘Glitter Bouquet ‘17’ to an eager crowd.
Fans of the hugely popular PIA Boutique would have noted the designer’s year-long hiatus, but now the label is back and better than ever.
Models took to the runway in a flurry of neon pink asymmetrical dresses, blush sequined shorts, Aztec-inspired prints, heavy frilled sleeves and delicate wrap dresses. The true PB fan would have rejoiced when spotting the signature ‘PIA’ style returning, in a new wave of prints that celebrate bold, beautiful and ultra-feminine essence of the brand.
Look away, wallflowers, the PIA girl is someone who goes boldly to stand in the spotlight, beaming as bright as the garments she chooses to wear.
There’s no doubting PIA Boutique satisfies a niche in the market for young women who want to inject a hit of colour and flair into their wardrobes. In saying that, this year the label has taken a night-time twist, with fun mini-skirts and elegant black slip dresses transitioning seamlessly into the world of workwear.
But don’t worry, you won’t risk looking like a carbon copy of everyone else who cottons on to her new collection – there’s a limited quantity of each piece. So, once they sell out, they’re gone for good.
Glitter bouquet ’17 is only available online or on the PIA Boutique App, with new styles being released daily from Feb 15. Check it out here.
