adidas Originals just opened their first New Zealand store

The Britomart precinct has long served Auckland as a bustling hub of inspiration and creativity. Its latest opening, New Zealand’s only adidas Originals store, fits right in.

The store, which opened on Thursday June 30, was preceded by stores in major international locations including New York and London.

The store itself possesses a raw and industrial aesthetic, complete with concrete floors, steel beams and exposed ceilings. It follows the format of adidas Original stores globally, which are designed to feel like a miniature street-style neighbourhood.

The inner-city retail space will stock all of the Originals cult classics, as well as latest releases and limited-edition sneaker drops. The ‘Icons’ range – a collection featuring adidas Originals classics including the Superstar, Stan Smith and Court Vantage – has been aligned with the opening of the store.
