A futuristic olympian running track set the scene for Dior's Cruise 2022 Collection show in Athens.
Unveiled in the heart of the Panathenaic Stadium, the collection was perfectly complemented by the grandiose and symbolic venue.
The Greek capital is where the games (drawing up to 70,000 spectators) were held in in honour of the goddess Athena during ancient times. Built entirely of Pentelic marble, this extraordinary monument was buried for centuries, and was restored in the second half of the 19th century.
Ladies of pure elegance made their way around the ancient stadium wearing sheer Grecian folds of fabric contrasted with gladiator-like padded vests and harnesses.
Our favourite looks included a surprising reinterpretation of the Bjork swan dress, the bowling-bags, and dressing gown.
