Harry Potter fans: Watch the 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' trailer

For lovers of Harry Potter, this is a magical day.

The trailer for the first in J.K Rowling's three-part Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was premiered at the MTV Movie Awards yesterday - and it's as brilliant as we'd hoped.

Starring Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander who gets kicked out of Hogwarts due to 'endangering human life with a beast', the film will explore the goings-on of New York City’s wizarding community in the 1920's - decades before the birth of the famous Harry Potter.
