Clicquot in the Snow: Everything you need to know
Queenstown's annual four-day champagne celebration took off once again this year courtesy of Veuve Clicquot. Complimenting the snow-capped mountains with their signature yellow, Clicquot in the Snow welcomed their guests with four days of lunching at the Rata Restaurant, an Après Ski on Coronet Peak, High Tea, croquet on the peaks and the exclusive launch of Kathryn Wilson's newest collection. Additional to the Queenstown's iconic views, the week ended with the glamorous Clicquot Gala.
“Every year we try and bring a few new Clicquot twists to the programme to keep things exciting for all those who take part, and this time was no different,” says Ali Campbell, Veuve Clicquot Senior Brand Manager. “It was great to be back in Queenstown to celebrate Clicquot in the Snow and toast to winter in such fabulous style!”
Exciting is an understatement, when Clicquot flies their guests via helicopter to play a game of the highest croquet in the Southern Hemisphere. The guests also enjoyed chilled Veuve Clicquot at the Clicquot Snow Bar and the Clicquot Cabin at Heidi’s Hut after a day on the peaks.
Celebrity Chef Josh Emett put on an unforgettable gastronomic experience with a four-course degustation. The meal was paired with Veuve Clicquot champagne - the ultimate match made in heaven.
On the last night, Veuve Clicquot hosted a black tie gala at the Winehouse. Ending the winter festivities with live entertainment from Boh Runga and Jason Kerrison, Clicquot in the Snow was an experience we cannot wait to repeat again next year.
