Enveloped in a luxurious gold case, Rouge Pur Couture positively screams elegance. It has intense colour richness and a moist satiny finish. This shade is one of six new shades designed by Yves Saint Laurent International Makeup Artist Lloyd Simmonds. It lasted pretty well until I ate an apple for an afternoon snack… One golden piece of advice for lipstick novices: never eat an apple while wearing lipstick; you’ll end up a real mess. I had lipstick all over the place - on the apple, on my face, on my fingers. Mental note: cut the apple up and eat like a proper lipstick-wearing lady next time.
