The academy has added yet another game-changing qualification to their repertoire; the New Zealand Certificate in Makeup Artistry (Level 4)

This qualification includes practical and theoretical makeup knowledge for a range of clients and environments, such as film and TV, live performance and fashion (photographic and catwalk), as well as complimentary and in-demand services including lashes, brows and tanning. The course also covers the increasingly important business and marketing skills to make it in the freelancing world!

An awesome point of difference for Servilles Academy is their commitment to providing 'real-life' experience throughout the course. Students are privy to opportunities with NZ Fashion Week, TV programmes, runway shows and music videos. 

To ensure students in this course are equipped and exposed to the latest and best quality products, Servilles Academy use MAC Cosmetics in their student kits, whilst also providing students the opportunity to receive seasonal demos and workshops from MAC professional makeup artists. 

Programme content:

• Beautician services 

Skin, nail and hair care, tanning, lash and brow tinting, lash extensions and brow grooming

• Consultancy services

Nail, makeup and hairstyling for a variety of private client occasions

• Health and safety procedures
   
• Film, TV, Live Performance and Fashion

Makeup and processes involved with Film and Television, Live Performance, Fashion Photographic and Catwalk (consulting, backstage requirements etc.)

• Business skills

Setting up and maintaining a freelancing business (understanding marketing, taxes, invoicing accounts and maintaining professionalism)
