Get the golden glow like our cover star, Ashley Graham

Tanning doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the sun scorching your skin, nor does it have to mean using faux tan products that leave your skin feeling sticky and orange. We had our stunning cover star and St Tropez ambassador, Ashley Graham, talk about why St Tropez is her tanning brand of choice and how she achieves her golden tan with her favourite St Tropez products, so you can get that lit-from-within glow just like the supermodel herself.

What has been the biggest surprise or interesting thing you’ve learned about tanning since working with St.Tropez?

I never thought that tanning or self-tanner could also be hydrating and actually good for your skin. Instead of working against my skincare routine, it perfectly pairs and compliments it. St.Tropez products are perfect because I get everything I need from hydration to vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to make sure my skin feels great and protected.

What are your ultimate top tips for tanning?

Moisturizer is key on those dry areas; knees, and elbows.. it’ll make a huge difference and result in a flawless finish. 

Do you have any tanning tips for hard-to-reach places?

A trick I’ve used is to put a wooden spoon inside the mitt and then use as a handle/lever. It will help you reach all those hard-to-reach places and do it evenly. Or my favourite, spritz the St Tropez Purity Face Mist over your back – you don’t even need to blend it!

How do you prepare for the red carpet and what is your go-to party beauty look and why?

My glam team is an integral part of making me feel red-carpet-ready! We’ve done so many amazing fashion and beauty looks throughout the years and they always help me get that beautiful tanned glow and make sure I’m covered evenly in all places! Aside from a great self-tan, I love a good lip! A great colour can totally elevate your look and give you that elegant feeling.
