Beloved beauty creator Jungwon Jo trials the new Lancôme Génifique Ultimate Serum

Seven days later, Remix sat down with Jungwon to get her thoughts on preventative beauty measures, and her experience trialling the new and improved Lancôme Génifique Ultimate serum.
What are your thoughts on preventative/anti-aging beauty products?
When it comes to skincare, I believe in being proactive rather than reactive. Preventative beauty is all about giving your skin the best possible care before signs of aging fully set in, so you’re maintaining that youthful glow for as long as possible. For me, it’s less about ‘anti-aging’ and more about supporting my skin’s health—keeping it plump, hydrated, and resilient with the right combination of ingredients. From antioxidants that fight environmental stressors to hydrating serums that boost elasticity, I love products that nourish and future-proof my skin. After all, skincare is self-care, and I really believe in investing in your skin’s long-term vitality.
Have you heard about Lancôme Génifique before?
Yes! I actually had the amazing opportunity last year to fly over to Melbourne with Lancôme to learn more about the new and improved Génifique. I had the privilege of hearing firsthand from the Lancôme team about the science behind the formula, experience wellness activities designed to align with Génifique’s ethos of skin vitality, and finally, experience the serum in action with an express facial. Learning the story behind the product deepened my appreciation for it and gave me the opportunity to truly fall in love with Génifique.
What has your experience been like using the Lancôme Génifique serum?
I use Génifique religiously—every morning after my vitamin C serum and every night just before my moisturiser. Since adding it to my routine, my skin has felt significantly more hydrated, and I’ve noticed a real boost in its overall vitality and elasticity. It’s one of those products I never let myself run out of—I’ve already gone through countless bottles!
Have you seen any results?
Absolutely! I started noticing some smile lines creeping in, but since using Génifique, they’ve visibly softened, which is just incredible. On top of that, my skin looks plumper and more radiant—so much so that I’ve been getting compliments even when I’m only wearing sunscreen. That’s when you know a product is doing its job!
Finally, will you continue to use the Lancôme Génifique Ultimate serum?
Without a doubt. It’s become a non-negotiable in my routine, and I always have a backup bottle on standby. I also love that it’s refillable—it makes restocking so easy while being a more sustainable option. Génifique has truly earned its spot as a forever staple in my beauty lineup.
