DJ Dirty South releases debut short film ‘With You’: Watch the trailer

Here at Remix we have a soft spot for DJs taking an artistic route, having started out as a DJ magazine ourselves 17 short years ago. Our boss man Tim Phin still doubles as a DJ by night! So we were pretty intrigued to see the transformation of Grammy Award nominated DJ Dirty South into a director, writer and producer with his debut short film With You. Released internationally on iTunes today, the 37 minute short film With You is an artistic extension of Dirty South’s upcoming album of the same name, a visual story of the music he had been making for his highly anticipated sophomore album. With You is the next step in Dirty South’s creative evolution; traversing the electronic, indie and alternative soundscape to create a truly unique project. The film stars a handful of unknown talent, as well as CSI star Gary Dourdan, with the narrative linked together using the inspiration from songs on the album.
