We can’t get enough of….This new release from Blunt

It’s the second to last week of January (don’t worry, that freaks us out too) and as we settle back into the flow of the office we find ourselves in need of a little retail therapy and a lot of fun. This week we can’t get enough of these new releases and we’re going deep on Pinterest to find inspiration for the perfect outfit to wear to the 47th NZ Polo Open.

Save your skin with Blunt

We all know how harmful the sun can be, particularly in New Zealand. UV rays cause premature ageing, loss of pigmentation and skin cancer even on a cloudy day. Blunt’s new UV Series is crafted with an innovative canopy that showcases a 50+ Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) to block 99% of harmful UV light protecting your skin from the elements all year round. The chic new range comes in four colours as well as a Jacob Elordi-esque nautical stripe starting from $149.

You Be Mother by Meg Mason

We recently read ‘You Be Mother’ by Meg Mason and we absolutely loved it.

“The only thing Abi ever wanted was a proper family. So when she falls pregnant by an Australian exchange student in London, she cannot pack up her old life in Croydon fast enough, to start all over in Sydney and make her own family. It is not until she arrives, with three-week-old Jude in tow, that Abi realises Stu is not quite ready to be a father after all. And he is the only person she knows in this hot, dazzling, confusing city, where the job of making friends is turning out to be harder than she thought. That is, until she meets Phyllida, her wealthy, charming, imperious older neighbour, and they become almost like mother and daughter. If only Abi had not told Phil that teeny tiny small lie, the very first day they met…”

Gilded History

Born in 2008 but with a nod to the 1920s the Van Cleef & Arpels Perlée collections are like a chic time capsule, taking inspo from the past and bringing it into the now with a touch of golden bead magic. Perlée includes pearls of gold, couleurs, diamonds, clovers, a signature line, plus sparkling watches. For the campaign, Van Cleef & Arpels teamed up with French designer and friend of the house Arthur Hoffner, to drop a campaign admiring the iconic golden beads against a deliciously frosty backdrop (and in this humidity, nothing looks better).

Remix Fashion at the Polo

We’re all about equestrian chic this week. The NZ Polo Open is back for its 47th year on Sunday 18th February and we can’t wait to take over the Clevedon countryside.  Polo as a sport is known to be one of the most fabulous events of the year and history shows that the fashion side of the sport has always attained the most stylish crowds. This year, Remix will be on site for the ‘Remix Fashion at the Polo,’ with a chance to win ‘best-dressed’, and some incredible prizes. Judges including our very own Editor-in-Chief Amber Baker will carefully choose and crown the winners alongside Sally Richardson of Cable, and Robert Niwa of Crane Brothers. You won’t want to miss this one!
