It’s a sad goodbye

News of the prestigious Smith & Caughey’s department store will close for good in early 2025 after 144 years in business. Renowned for its upmarket brands, and Christmas window displays, Smith & Caughey’s has been a prominent physical and cultural landmark in Auckland city. Christmas will not be the same without them!
