The Karaka Million is back at Ellerslie!

Think chilled, tall flutes of Moët & Chandon, uninterrupted views of Auckland’s finest two & four-legged colts and fillies, perfectly affixed headpieces and you’re looking at one of the finest events of the racing calendar. It’s all happening this Auckland Anniversary Weekend at the New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Million.

Making its debut in 2019, the Cavallo Club is the latest hotspot from where to enjoy all the night’s action.  The only place on course offering the ‘drink of the summer’ - the Aperol Spritz - to attendees, this slice of Italy channels the laidback-luxe feels of Tuscany.  With casual Italian-style fare included in the ticket price, this little oasis is our pick for the best new way to enjoy this iconic event.  

After the races have been run - this year featuring not one, but two being run for $1,000,000 - the party revs up with fireworks & live music under the stars.

Taking place next Saturday 26 January, this is Ellerslie Racecourse’s international million-dollar night, attracting the who’s who of the world’s racing and Auckland’s social circles.
