Perrier-Jouët x Botswana Butchery’s Garden of Eden collaboration launches in Auckland
Ready, set, flutes at the ready: a not-so-secret garden has arrived in Auckland and it’s set to be a sell-out. Keep the champagne flowing for the month of May, as one of Auckland’s finest has teamed up with Perrier-Jouët, bringing the outside-in for an unforgettable ‘Garden of Eden’ banquet experience. Think: all your foodie dreams accompanied by matching Perrier-Jouët champagne. It’s the collaboration we never knew we needed, and one definitely not to miss.
Botswana Butchery, known for its stellar location on the ground floor of the iconic Ferry Building, knows how to provide a fun and indulgent dining experience. The iconic eatery specialises in plating premium produce - both meat and seafood - paired with local ingredients to bring a combined taste from Auckland and the Deep South. Sourcing sustainably, both locally and nationwide from artisan farmers and fisherman, their menus are designed to be devoured, and the Garden of Eden banquet menu is no different.
The semi-private mezzanine space already exuding elegance, has now been transformed into a tropical-inspired garden oasis like you’ve never seen before. You’ll be greeted by lush greenery and vibrant, playful accents that pay ode to the elegance depicted by the Perrier-Jouët Champagne House. What’s more, if you’ve been trying to wrangle the group for a catch-up this May, the Garden of Eden banquets are the perfect opportunity.
If you couldn’t already tell, we’re pretty excited about the Garden of Eden banquet experience. To invite all types of banquet lovers, Botswana Butchery is offering three different dining options for you to live out your gardenesque desires.
If you’re feeling bold (and extra hungry!) immerse yourself in the six-course sharing menu, which features an amuse-bouche, two entrees, two mains, a palette cleanser, and a dessert. Delve into the natural bluff oysters with chardonnay vinegar pearls and lemon granite, Pukekohe’s Easterbrook Farm Quail with roasted witloof, parsnip, pear and honey, and a Hawkes Bay Organic Lamb Wellington with spinach, broad bean, garlic soubise, and Clevedon curd. Drooling yet? For a truly elevated banquet, pair it with the Perrier Jouët & Wine Match.
For an equally inclusive dining experience, there’s also a separate four-course menu, complete with Perrier Jouët in all its glory, on offer.
If there’s one thing we know for sure, Aucklander’s love a good brunch. Swap your ordinary egg benne and flat white combo for something truly extraordinary. Botswana Butchery’s luxurious spin on a banquet brunch includes two courses, sides, and a 90-minute premium beverage package. For the indecisive brunch-goers, good news, no longer will you have to pick. Whether you’re feeling peckish for croissants, breads and condiments, or your eyes are on the prize, the Big Glory Bay cold smoked salmon mini bagels or West Coast whitebait fritters, you’re sorted. Of course, no quintessential Kiwi breakfast is complete without smashed avo, so there’s that and mini hash browns for the tradition inclined.
The Garden of Eden banquet is tipped to the must-visit event of the season so a word of warning - it will sell out. Be sure to book in stat to avoid disappointment as it’s only on this month.
