On every mum-to-be’s wishlist: the luxurious little Lucci

The pram experts at Edwards and Co had me from the start with their new travel stroller Lucci, when they explained it's pronounced like Gucci.

Like ok, hold the phone.

The expectation of something chic and luxurious hung heavy in the air - and I was not disappointed. Having already owned the original Edwards & Co travel stroller, Otto, (which I rated highly) I never doubted the new release would have great quality, but the Lucci is just next level, people.

Below you'll find an honest review of the parenting product that will be topping wish lists this Christmas.

But first I feel the need to outline why an Edwards and Co travel stroller/pram is SO helpful and necessary for mums and dads of bubs and toddlers…

Having a mode of minion transport that unfolds and folds down easily into the back of your car, the aeroplane overhead storage, and even tucked away in a cafe corner is a necessary luxury. Our larger prams that we stroll from home to the local beach or shops have their place in our hearts (and garages) but the travel pram is what makes our mum-on-the-move world go around.

Because of their elite size status (aka VERY compact foldable size) only travel strollers/prams are allowed to be wheeled all the way down the loading bride onto a plane, something the everyday larger pram doesn’t qualify for. The ability to walk calmly down with a pram comes in immensely handy, when you have a tired wild toddler who would otherwise be hanging off your hip battling for space with your very heavy overpacked carry-on Louis V bag trying to fish out snacks.

The Lucci is ultra lightweight and designed for carry-on luggage, so of course it fits in the planes overhead lockers smoothly, and even in the skinny space behind the drivers seat of your car. The Lucci is even smaller than you’d expect when closed, yet she opens open to be a comfortable, large seat for your little one once assembled - which might I add takes a literal one-handed release and throw. When unfolding from its closed position it simply self assembles - it reminds me of those tents in the 2000s that you’d throw in the air and they’d automatically self-inflate.

But with much more sophistication, of course.

I chose the Khaki colour way (we’re walking into 2025 embracing subtle colour fam) and alongside the stylish shade, every detail seems more luxurious than the earlier edition. From the thicker padding in the seat, to the softer material of the canopy, the bigger storage tray space down the bottom for ALL the things, and of course the mighty FOLD. Honestly, when you’re collapsing - or folding - the Lucci, if you blink you’ll miss it. With a quick flick of the wrist while releasing the unlock buttons, it folds down in seconds… in fact it may even be one second?

For me right now, being a heavily pregnant toddler mum, the speedy auto fold is so effortless and easy, I don’t even need to let out that classic beached whale sound when packing down.

The Lucci is just a chic little piece of practical luxury that parents get to be grateful for on those tough days out hustling their tribe.

She gets five stars from this mama and the Lucci is available now for preorder (with a delivery expected early January).
