For nearly four decades, Louis Vuitton has been a cornerstone of the race, both the house and the America's Cup share a commitment to pioneering technologies like 3D design and sustainable materials, enhancing both the Trophy Trunks and the swift AC40 and AC75 yachts.
With this shared ethos in mind, Louis Vuitton will pick up where they left off in 1983 creating the legendary Louis Vuitton Cup trophy and two custom Trophy Trunks meticulously crafted at the Louis Vuitton atelier in Asnières. The trunks will house two of the races coveted trophies, the Auld Mug, an emblematic silver ewer presented to the winner since 1851, and the Louis Vuitton Cup, created by the Maison in 1983 and awarded to the champion of the House’s eponymous competition.
