Auckland is finally getting its own David Jones!

Auckland gals get your credit cards ready, David Jones is finally on its way to the city! You heard it right, the long-awaited arrival of the Australian upmarket department store to come to Auckland is nearly over!

The rumour mill has been going for sometime, regarding wether or not Auckland would see the fashion giant grace Aucklanders with its presence , especially after the opening of their first store in Wellington in 2016. 

If that wasn’t already the best news ever, then the fact that Westfield Newmarket is getting a brand new spanking $790 million makeover should be the icing on the cake!

The new mega-mall will showcase the very best of New Zealand’s local fashion designers as well as international designers and even some new-to-market brands will be making a debut.

When you’ve either run out of money or bought everything there is in David Jones don’t fret because theres plenty of other things to do at this soon to be world-class retail destination.

A new state-of-the art Event Cinemas complex will be integrated into the mall offering V-Max and Gold Class experiences. Before you go catch a movie why not grab a bite to eat at the malls rooftop dining area. A new approach to a mall foodcourt, the modern outdoor dining and lifestyle precinct will provide guests with some of the countries finest foods and beverages. 

We’re definitely excited about this new premium fashion, lifestyle and entertainment hub to open and we’ll definitely be there to see the doors open for the very first time in late 2019, until then we’ll be getting the credit card ready to go!
