Wrangler Noise Collection

Words by Steven Fernandez. Since being born out of 60s and 70s youth culture, Wrangler has maintained close ties with the rock n’ roll culture that created the iconic denim brand in the first place. Tipping their hat again to the likes of Mick Jagger, John Lennon and Bob Dylan, Wrangler have this month launched the NOISE collection - a capsule of pieces that embody the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll. Artist and designer Nick Thomm – founder of The Drop creative studio and SRC783 Magazine – has collaborated with Wrangler on the accompanying NOISE campaign at Melbourne’s most renowned and respected live music venue, The Corner Hotel in Richmond. The Corner Hotel was the most obvious location, having played host to some of the world’s most prolific artists, including Buzzcocks, Yo La Tengo, Dandy Warhols, Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, Blink-182, Violent Femmes and Dinosaur Jr. Check out some images from the campaign below and head along to any Wrangler stockist from May onwards to try the NOISE collection for yourself!
