These 9 New Zealand designers teamed up to support Breast Cancer research
Following on from the re-release of the famed Tees For A Cure campaign back in 2021, Breast Cancer Cure NZ have once again launched a winter '23 collection. One woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three hours, the support of Breast Cancer Cure NZ has helped to slow the death rate by 1% per year with 89% of women diagnosed with early breast cancer now surviving more than five years. For the remaining 11% there is currently no cure and now more than ever the focus remains on this group and the 20-30% who subsequently go on to develop advanced breast cancer.
Alongside the important message to raise awareness, the Tees For A Cure campaign centers around a line of merchandise made in collaboration with several leading local designers. Perfect for the upcoming colder months, BCCNZ have introduced long-sleeve tees, crew-neck sweatshirts, hoodies and a tech jacket modeled by an array of breast cancer survivors, fashion designers and local athletes.
Purchasing from this collection is an easy way to make a difference and contribute towards Breast Cancer Cure’s ongoing research in New Zealand. All profit from the sales of this iconic fashion campaign go to Breast Cancer Cure NZ. The winter '23 Tees for a Cure collection is online now and available for pre-order. Pre-orders close Thursday May 18th.
