Everything you need to know about the Yeezy season 3 release
Only Ye could sell out Madison Square Garden for an elaborate fashion and musical extravaganza, all in the name of art. Kanye had us all asking ‘who is Pablo?’ on Friday, with the premiere of his new album The Life of Pablo, the self-proclaimed ‘best album in the world’. The new tracks were played alongside the Yeezy season 3 release in a huge three hour fashion show. With so many releases and premieres all happening in one place (not to mention twitter fights and name changes) I think even the attendees may have been a tad confused. Never fear, we have put together a list of all you need to know to keep you in Ye loop.

The album cover by Peter De Potter was also released yesterday and already has inspired folk across the Internet to get creative and make their own personalised versions.

Kim and the Kardashian clan rocked up in some exclusive Yeezy x Balmain pieces that were far from humble. The outfits had them looking like a group of extravagant glittery snow angels showing support from the crowd.

The Yeezy models had some pretty strange instructions from the aspiring model-coach Kanye himself – ‘NO FAST MOVEMENT, NO SLOW MOVEMENTS’.

There was a special appearance from the one and only Naomi Campbell. Unsurprisingly, Kanye couldn’t help but to add a bit of controversy to the event with the mention of his gal pal Taylor Swift. Lyrics of his new song 'Famous' included Kanye claiming to be the reason why Taylor Swift is famous, along with other borderline misogynistic claims. Putting aside all the controversy, the show was a huge collection of layered-up, brown and nude coloured goodness. Yeezy continues to surprise us with innovative new ways to hold fashion shows that are far from the traditional catwalk-style arrangements. Other notable mentions include: models holding up black power fists, the spotting of Frank Ocean in the crowd and some new music released by Vic Mensa and Young Thug. Say what you like about Ye, he sure knows how to get a fashion show talked about.
