Style a shoot with Remix! Registrations for the Newmarket Young Fashion Designer Awards are open now

Remix is all about celebrating emerging talent and we love to get behind up-and-coming creatives in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and culture. It’s extremely exhilarating to watch someone you discovered grow into something big! The Newmarket Young Fashion Designer Awards (NYFDA) has the same mantra. Now in its sixth year, the NYFDAs serve to fast-track incredible new talent, giving young people with a love for all things fashion, textile and design an opportunity to make their fashion designer dreams come true. Aspiring designers nationwide can enter the Junior (16-17 years) or Senior (18-19 years) category, with a range of prizes in each to encourage talent. Entries are open until Monday 2^nd June. The senior prize includes a two-year scholarship for Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, a two-week internship with New Zealand’s taylor boutique and a trip to Australian Fashion Week for the ultimate backstage experience with M.A.C. Oh AND the senior prize winner will also get to style a Remix photoshoot alongside our fashion director Kylie Cooke for our December issue. The winner of the junior category will also receive hands-on designer experience with a two-week internship at RUBY and Liam’s head office, among other prizes. Keen to be involved?
